"Greetings from Laguna Beach: Our Town in the Early 1900s"

The Laguna Art Museum will be bringing back this historically rich exhibition, which features Impressionist paintings, photographs, and memorabilia exemplifying life in Laguna Beach from about 1900 to 1930. It was organized by LAM and co-curated by Curator of Collections Janet Blake and former Curator of Education Wendy Sears.

This exhibition illustrates Laguna's early history through landscapes painted by some of the town's earliest artists as well as historical photos and a room-sized installation of a typical period cottage. The paintings include works by Franz A. Bischoff, Conway Griffith , Clarence Kaiser Hinkle, Joseph Kleitsch, Millard Sheets, William Wendt, and Martin J. Jackson.
